The Search for Power (Personal Saga)

The earth was shaking. Every thing was slowly turning red.
Blood? No. It was something else.. Rage..
Korn was standing still. His body was overflowed with energy.
He felt the power in him. He was totally calm.
His hair turned gold.

Korn woke up. He was in his room in the barracks. He was amused by the dream.
-"The Super Saiyan.. Heh..", He knew it was just a legend but still, he couldn't keep laying in bed. He needed to train more. He jumped off the bed and walked out of the room, still tired, with his eyes closed.

-"Harvest 20 Saibamen and prepare the gravitation room."
-"20?! Asked on of the scientists.
-"Are you deaf? Korn asked calmly as he was putting on his Saiyan armor. His armor was brown and black, covered with dents and scratches.
-"The room is ready." The alien scientist said.
Korn was ready. He walked in. The room was full of Saibamen.
-"Im ready!" Korn yelled.
-"How much gravitation?"
-"One hundrened." Korn answered.
He soon felt the gravitation increasing as the scientists pressed some buttons. He was drawn more and more to the room's floor and when it reached x100 gravitation he fell and smashed head on with it.
The Saibamen had hard time as well but they were created for the purpose of training under a gravitation as high as this one.
-"Aghh.." Korn struggled as the Saibamen laughed at him.
The scienticts were sure that it is the end of Korn.
-"Agghh!" Korn tried to stand up using his hands but soon realized it was no good when he fell again. The Saibamen were slowly approaching, making loud sounds with each step.
Korn lifted his head up to see the Saibamen. His pride stoped him from asking to lower the gravitation. He reached a shaking hand forward and tried to gather energy.
It was hard but he eventually succeeded. He fired 3 Ki Balls, two of which fell down before they could reach any Saibaman and one that hit a Saibaman's leg. The leg broke off and made the Saibaman crash to the ground. The high gravitation made the fall kill him.
Korn had a smirk all over his face as the other Saibamen watched him.
He was starting to get used to the x100 gravitation. -"Aggh.", he struggled again to stand up. He succeeded this time. Although his knees were shaking he was truley standing. He reached two hands forward as the Saibaman were still approaching. A sweat drop fell down the side of Korn's face.
Korn yelled as he unleashed dozens of Ki Blasts at his training partners.
They screamed as they were fired at, some of them got hit and fell, others were more lucky.
-"Damn it!", Korn just ran out of Ki.
The Saibaman realized they were no longer in danger. They ran at him, punching and kicking. Korn tried to dodge but failed miserably. He was hit from all sides and fell to his knees. He was truley finished when a Saibaman steped on his back. -"Aggghh!!" He yelled.

Korn was lying there for a few seconds but the time was passing by like hours. Korn's mind was clouded with thoughts when the image from the dream apeared before his eyes again.
Korn moved his hands to the sides of his body and pushed himself up. The Saibamen were shocked. Korn jumped back on his feet, laughing. His heart was pounding like it is going to burst out of his chest and through his armor. He looked at the ground and charged up. This caused an energy bulb to explode from his body, sending almost all Saibamen to hell. The blue energy was flowing from his body. He looked at the remaining creatured and laughed. He used his right hand to create an energy beam. The blue beam flew across the room the destroy a Saibaman but Korn was yet to be done with the beam. Korn controlled the beam and changed it's course to destroy another one, and another one after that. All Saibamen were penetrated by the beam and killed on the spot. Korn never liked to noises Saibaman made when something went through their bodies. He let go of the beam when he was sure that he is the only one standing.
The gravitation dropped back to normal when the doors opened and the aliens rushed in. Korn started feeling all the pain that was building up during the battle. He fell to the ground, feeling as light as a feather. Still smiling, he was rushed to the rejuvenation tank.

It was afternoon. Vegeta's sun shone bright in the sky, making them bright orange.
Korn arrived a small town. He needed a break from the capital and as he didn't had anything better to do he decided to take the day off. He walked through the village as he smelled a combination of sweet and spicy flavoured food. Korn, having a Saiyan's apetite was drawn by the smell. He entered the restaurant and took a sit.

Soon, he was eating as only Saiyans can. Pieces of food were flying all over the place as more and more plates were piling up. Korn examined the owner while he was eating. The owner didn't seem to be strong, maybe he didn't even had any power at all, Korn thought. He then ordered another dozen of full plates. When he was done, he stretched his arms and was going to leave.
-"Aren't you going to pay?" Asked the owner with an angry face.
-"Me? Im with that guy.", Korn pointed over to the other side of the restaurant.
As the owner turned back when he didn't see anyone there, Korn was already gone.

Korn was still wandering around in the village, having nothing to do.
-"Hey you!", a deep voice shouted at Korn.
Korn looked around.
-"Over here!!"
Korn looked up and saw a Saiyan decsend from the sky. He landed on the ground with a thud sound. He was big, too big and almost totally bald. He wore blue shaded Saiyan armor, boots and gloves.
-"What do you want?" Korn asked, ignoring the Saiyan's size.
-"You, me, fight." He answered.
-"A brilliant use of words." Korn mocked him, -"You think you could take on me?"
The Saiyan smiled at Korn.
-"Oh well, I'll fight." Korn got into a fighting position and pressed the button on his scouter. The scouter calculated all the power levels nearby but found none coming from the Saiyan.
-"What?!" Korn never saw the scouter failing to find a power level before.
-"My name is Topas.", The Saiyan smiled, -"Lets fight."

Topas dashed towards Korn, punching him in the chest. Korn almost fell on his back but regained balance in the last second. Topas didn't wasted any second and threw a kick at Korn, hitting his head. Korn was sent flying into a wall. He struggled a bit to pull his head out of the broken wall. Korn wiped some blood with his left hand from his lips.
It was getting interesting. Korn dashed toward Topas. He was moving fast. He raised his right fist like he was going to punch the Saiyan but appeared behind him in the last second, trying to kick him. Topas was even faster then Korn, he disappeared and appeared behind Korn, kicking him upward. Korn was spinning and flying up untill he regained controll. He wasn't good at Bukujutsu so flying wasn't an option.
Topas looked up and jumped with all of his force, cracking the land he was standing on.
-"AAGGH!", Topas yelled as he flew toward Korn. Korn started sending dozens of Ki Blasts at the approaching threat but Topas wasn't even tickled by the hitting blasts.
Seeing how Topas was too close for him to do anything, Korn combined his hands to try and block him. Topas collided with Korn head on, hitting him in the stomach. Korn puked some blood out. Right after that Topas fired an energy beam at Korn and sent him flying into a lake.

Korn hit the lake's surface, making a huge splash of water. He slowed down as he got deeper into the water.
Topas dived in after Korn. He looked around searching for his sparring partner.
He activated his blue scouter and searched for a power level. He found one to his right.
He turned around to get a boulder thrown at him. The boulder smashed into thousands little stones. Topas felt little pain at all but Korn used alot of his energy already.

Both Korn and Topas flew toward each other. They collided, elbow to elbow, creating a huge underwater wave. All of the lake's surface was effected by the giant wave as the two Saiyans jumped out kicking and punching each other. Topas was alot bigger, stronger and faster the Korn but Korn's will power was enough to even the score. As soon as Korn saw an openning in Topas' standing he turned his wait to throw a kick at him.
The pain was great. Korn's leg felt like he was kicking a mountain while Topas was still standing firm. Topas caught the Saiyan's leg and started spinning around in place.
After a few seconds of spinning he let go of Korn and put his two hands together.
Topas charged a blue beam between his two hands and unleashed it at the thrown warrior.

Korn saw the beam approaching as he was flying backward and charged two beams and fired the both at Topas.
The two beams have collided, creating an explosion. The two warriors kept sending energy through the beam.
-"I am not going to lose.." Korn said through his teeth while trying to hold off Topas' attack.
-"I never thought you could make it so far!!!" Topas yelled at Korn, laughing.
The beams were even for a few minutes when Korn's beam started to weaken and fade.
He was so tired but he couldn't let go of the beam.
The blue beam was slowly approaching Korn when it finally hit him.
With a bright flash Korn was sent to the ground. He crashed into the dirt.
Topas landed near-by. He walked towards bleeding Korn. Korn's armor was broken and his pants were torn up. His face was covered and blood and he was bleeding from almost all over his blood.
-"Come on. Kill me." Korn said, -"I don't want anyone to see me like this. It's a disgrace for a Saiyan warrior like myself."
-"Im sorry, you'r too powerfull. It will be such a waste to kill a warrior like you.", Topas answered as he reached into the pouch that was hanging on the side of his waist. He took out a green bean.
-"Eat this.", he put it in Korn's mouth. Korn swallowed it.
-"Wh- What the..?", Korn didn't understand why his wounds were healing. The bleeding started to slow down and eventually stoped.
-"I am sure we will meet again." Topas said and flew up into the orange sky.

Korn woke up. He decided he should finally master Bukujutsu. Other Saiyans with his power level already learned the technique but Korn invested more time in training his strength and endurance then learning a rather "useless" technique. Korn ran through the capital city, running at 250 kilometers per hour, he was standing in the middle of the desert in a few minutes. He looked around, trying to find anything that can help him train on his flying skills. He knew the basics of gathering Ki under his feet but had trouble maintaining it there.
His goal was to fly back to the city at the end of the day and he was going to achieve it, no matter what.

-"Alright.", he said while spreading his legs apart and making his hands into fists.
He closed his eyes and imagined his energy gather below his feet. After a while, he was feeling as if he is raising up. Korn slowly started to rise from the ground but as soon as he opened his eyes he fell back to the ground, creating a small cloud of dirt near his feet.
-"Damn!"
Korn started all over, again and again.
He spent a few hours trying to raise higher and higher without losing his concentration. He was high in the air by now, as the red sun warmed him up. He felt the wind in his hair as he slowly opened his eyes. He got dazzeled by the sun's rays.
He looked down, he was roughly 2 killometers up in the sky.
He couldn't help but to smile and feel the enjoyable feel of achievment.
-"Half way there.."
Next on his list, was to try and float around. He tried to move a bit to the right.
-"Come on..", he said, trying not to lose his grip. He slowly moved to the right and then to the left. In a few mintues he was slowly moving in circles. A sweatdrop ran on his forehead and stopped at his eyeborw when he tried to float faster.
-"Shi-", he yelled when he found himself diving down to earth.

Korn crashed into the sand flat face, making a loud sound. A lizzard ran out of it's shelter behind a rock and over the Saiyan's head.
He used both his hands to stand up. He wasn't ready to give up. He walked a bit untill he found a small boulder on the ground. Korn tried to pick it up but realized it was a giagantic rock that was covered with sand.
Holding the rock above his head, Korn closed his eyes and tried to concentrate.
This time, getting off the ground was a lot harder then before. He was only 5 meter high and already was tired and shaking.
Other Saiyans learned the technique in a few weeks but Korn wanted to do this in a day.

The sun was already setting when Korn got up to 30 meters. He tried to move around with the rock almost when it was almost slipping out of his hands. Was he overdoing? He didn't think so. Whenever he was getting too tired or was feeling too much pain he started laughing as a way to forget about any thing holding him back and keep on training. He was already tired of laughing when he could move around like before, without the rock.

It was night time when he finally lowered down and landed on both legs, still holding the rock. He leaned over and dropped it, letting it sink half way into the sand.
Korn was breathing heavily but still needed to go back to the capital.
He stood on the top of a cliff. The stars made him feel like he was being watched.
-"Don't let me down, body.", he said and jumped off the cliff with hands spread to the sides.
The training has paid off, he was flying, preety fast too. He was tired but managed to get back to the city after a half hour. As he was too tired to fly all the way to the barracks, he decided to spend the night on top of a building.

He was snoring preety loud though, and preety soon woke up some Saiyans from their sleep.

Technique learned: Bukujutsu

It was a warm day on planet Vegeta. As always, the sky were orange and the red sun was up in the sky, filling the air with a warm, refreshing rays of light. Korn smoothly flew above the capital city, avoiding all the crowd of people that wandered the city below.
Korn was thinking of new ways to manipulate and use ki when he realized he could use his energy to prehaps create a fake print of himself to fool his enemies.
-"Interesting..", he thought to himself when suddenly he heared a sonic boom from below.
-"Huh?", he turned around and looked down, all he saw was a pink-ish aura left overs, stretching away and slowly vanishing in mid-air. He used his left arm to activate his scouter so he could see the power level of this demonicly fast creature.
-"4730.. Worth checking out.", he smiled while imagining the upcoming fight.
-"Off we go!!", he said while crouching a bit in the air and pushing away with his legs to fly and catch up with the strong power level.

Flying in between the high buildings of the city, he was slowly getting closer.
-"He stopped.", Korn said while approaching a pink shiny spot in the sky. He changed his flying course to raise up to the Saiyan. -"What a strange aura..", he thought.

He apeared behind the Saiyan, noticing the figure to be a little slim for a Saiyan warrior.
-"What are you looking at?", the Saiyan turned to face Korn at once.
-Wha- What?", Korn was shocked, -"A female Saiyan?!"
The female had a long dark hair with spikey ends with eyes of the same color. She wore a Saiyan armor that was suited for a female, white boots, white gloves and a pink scarf around her neck. Her experession was serious but also cute at the same time.
-"Boy, you'r sharp." She said while combining her hands.
-"F-Fight me.", Korn commanded, trying to overcome his shame of being slower then this female Saiyan. She laughed. -"My name is Purna. Try to remmember that name during your last moments."
Korn smiled althought down inside he wasn't sure of himself at all. Not only he wasn't as fast, looking at Purna made him feel a bit strange in the stomach. He charged his right hand with a yellow ball of energy. -"Take this!!", he pushed his arm forward, unleashing a yellow beam over at female warrior. The beam went through with out any trouble to Korn's surprise and Purna apeared behind him, landing an elbow at the back of his head.
Purna giggled while she watched Korn descend to the city below. The croud of Saiyans below scattered when Korn hit the ground, cracking it.
-"What is wrong with me..", he questioned himself, -"I have to pull myself together!"
He powered up and flipped himself over to his feet. Korn jumped up making the ground he was standing on crack even more. Korn was still powering up while flying up resulting in his flight's acceleration. Purna finally stopped giggling and went serious. She got into a fighting stance getting ready for the attack. -"Agghhh!", Korn yelled and almost hit her when he went through her and faded away.
-"What was it?"
-"This", he kicked her in the back and sent her into a building. He used his idea from before and made an image projection of himself.
Her long legs were sticking out of the hole she made in the wall. Korn breathed heavily while watching her.
Purna got to her feet preety quickly, -"Now your talking!"
Korn started charging up to regain his ki that was lost in the previous attack when he was hit by her leg in the stomach. She wasn't as strong as she was fast but her speed made it possible to land dozens of hits in less then a fraction of a second.
Korn felt like he was fighting several Purnas at once. He had to keep up with all the knees, elbows, kicks and punches the she threw at him and block them.
-"Getting tired?!", she mocked Korn.
-"In your dreams.", he kept strugling.
Korn was somewhat lucky he was able to grab her leg.
-"Enjoy the ride!", he said in a playful voice and started to spin in place gaining more speed with each spin.
-"Let.. Me.. Go!!", she commanded Korn. She started sending Ki Blasts at him but almost none of them actually hurt him.
-"Sure, i'll let you go.", he said and threw her into a building.

Purna flew in from one side and out of the other. Korn was soon to follow. He put his two arms at the side of his body while flying through the building when Purna crashed into the side of a building, making all the windows crack. Korn was about to finish her when suddenly he absorbed half of the power that was in his beam, making it alot weaker and smaller.
-"Take that!", he unleashed the yellow beam that exploded on impact with Purna. Glass was falling down on the crowd of people that gathered to watch the fight from below. Korn smiled and wiped some sweat from his forehead with his right arm and then shaked it. The smoke cleared and Purna's bruised body was seen. She was full of cuts and bruises when she fell down. She was caught in the hands of Korn.
-"She is kind of cute..", he unwillingly admitted.
Ashamed of his feelings he flew off to the Saiyan barracks to put her into a rejuvenation tank.
-"Take care of her.", he said to the scientists while walking out.
((I hope Korn doesn't go soft now. XDD))
