[ Meditation Training ] - The Legend Master - { Roshi Training }

??: "Yoshi, you have become very wise as you have aged into a very knowledgable young man. I am very proud to be your master."

Yoshi: "And I your pupil Master Mosagi. If it weren't for you I would be lost and forsaken to a destiny that was not mine of choice. But more by burden."

Master Mosagi: "Ah, but that is something you have yet to learn. We control our destiny, our fate has nothing to do with our destiny, just merely a story standing beside it. You see Yoshi, as I sit here talking to you about destiny, there are some things in life we can't avoid, such as death, and for this reason I have come today to tell you of something that may help you out if I happen to disappear from this realm."

Yoshi: "I don't get it master, what are you talking about? Are you sick?"

Master Mosagi: "No No, I'm as healthy and strong as an Ox, but just given some wild circumstances, I need you to listen and remember this name. He is the Turtle Hermit, and lives on an Island with a few of his old friends, his style is grander than anything or technique I can teach you Yoshi, so I feel it should be that your destiny shall lead you to this man if you so choose to follow this path."

Yoshi opens his eyes as they flicker getting used to the bright sunlight, he had been resting after his huge battle in Machi, and was looking for the crash site of whatever it was that had flown above him after he had defeated Fei. But it was proving to be extremely difficult as he couldn't find any trace to follow of the random space item. The dream had sparked a new adventure however and before he could even question himself Yoshi was already packed and headed to the ocean shore. His trance like state of his former master Mosagi was an awakening and maybe a point in the right direction, once on the beach he would take a rest and meditate taking him into the spirit realm so to speak to ask Mosagi for advice in the direction of the Turtle Hermit's Island. Most people would think he was crazy but Yoshi had a system whenever speaking with Master Mosagi, whenever he asked for directions the wind would blow in that direction pointing out his desired location. He found it extremely odd that his deceased master had came to him in a dream and replayed the day he had the conversation with young Yoshi. The thoughts swimming around in his head made him feel almost sick with confusion but he didn't let up. He had no idea how far this hike was and for that matter when he got to the master known as Roshi, how difficult it was going to be. Hours on end had passed he had waken up relatively early but now it was about noon. He had finally reached the sandy beach. Girls in bikini's running around playfully some in the water and some on the shore with a guy chasing behind a group of the using a pinching motion with his hands. Yoshi wished he could be so frolicy and carefree but if he chose that path the end of Earth would surely be definite. He walked close to the water set his new tent and meditation mat down and sat indian style resting the back of his hands on the inner part of his knees. He leaned his head back taking a deep breath and closed his eyes touching his two middle fingers to his thumb and repeating the same with his other hand. And though he had started on the beach, it seemed as if he was in an entirely new world floating high above in the clouds.

Master Mosagi: " Ah my young pupil you have received my message have you not?"

Yoshi: "Yes master, but I am unsure as to why you want me to seek out this Roshi with such haste. No one seems to know of him and well I am failed to know the direction of where to be headed."

Master Mosagi: " Do not think that just because he is unheard of by many. That he has not trained a few greats. He is of course known as the Turtle Hermit my son, and for that very reason he bestows upon his students vast knowledge of the technique called the Kamehameha Wave. This attack will add fear to your opponents mind as you merely charge it."

Yoshi: "Very well, Master I must ask you of this. I need your help in following this trace and direction. Which way must I go?"

The wind begins to pick up and blow towards the west over the ocean and Yoshi takes it in. Shortly after he is struck in the head with something which snaps him out of his meditative stance. He shakes his head and looks around as two dim wits approach him completely sunburned and with their noses painted white with sun tan lotion. It was evident that they smacked him accidently with a beach ball, one of the girls hit it a bit too hard they explain as Yoshi nods and tosses it back. Shaking his head in annoyance he gets to his feet looking out and over the water towards the western horizon. He takes a look around to be sure no by standers are watching and with a fistful grabs his stuff. Crouching down he quickly blasts off in the air unseen as everyone was too busy with their own lives to really have noticed a flying man in the first place. He sped over the water and it looked as if another version of himself was flying upside down beneath him the water was so blue and clear. The sun reflected off of it like a mirror, and it was serene the flying feeling Yoshi had as the wind pressed against his face. The distance he flew grew longer by the minute as he finally gave sight to a small Island in the distance. He pressed on even faster upon gazing on it and in no time at all landed on it's shore. He straightened his stance and dropped his gear as he viewed a small pink house with a red roof. And a sign that read " Kame House ". It looked a bit odd to Yoshi for a master to live in such an odd dwelling but who was he to be picky? He lived in a tent wherever he sought sufficient.

Yoshi: " Hello? Is anyone here? My name is Yoshiri Hymaruu, former student of Master Mosagi, It was one of his dying wishes that I contact a man named Roshi, The Kame Master, and undergo his teachings. I am here to complete that wish."

After a few moments of waiting he heard nothing. He walked up to the door which was open but covered by a screen door allowing him to look into the house. It was a disaster, and further most disgusting. Porn Magazines everywhere and dirty dishes slung over every inch of the house. It was kind of creepy to Yoshi but he continued looking refusing to step foot in the house uninvited. He walked around the side of the house and listened as he heard elderly cackling and laughter. He peaked around the corner to find a bald headed, white bearded man in nothing but swimming trunks and sunglasses reading once again a Pornography magazine sideways. Yoshi cocked a brow and shook his head in disbelief. He approached the man and began to speak.

Yoshi: " Sir, may you be so kind as to tell me where I can find Master Roshi?"

Master Roshi: " He's out sick! Now scram!"

Yoshi: " I'm sorry, I have traveled too far, to be turned away I shall wait. This is very important to me, and well I need to learn his teachings. "

Master Roshi: " Look kid, he is very picky about who he chooses to undergo his training so if I were you I'd give up and find another route in life."

Yoshi: " I cannot. It was Master Mosagi's last wish for me to seek out this man and learn from him. I can't let my teacher down. I'll just wait out front for him to return. "

Master Roshi drops the magazine immediately at the mention of Master Mosagi. And at this time Yoshi begins to walk towards the front once again, he sits on the front stoop and anxiously awaits the arrival of Master Roshi. And he would, after a few minutes of waiting the old pervert out back swings the door open attired in an orange gi and black pants his sunglasses still attired.

Master Roshi: " What are you doing? Taking a break? We have a lot to learn and a short time to learn it so get off your butt and change into the gear I have ready for you on the chair out back. "

Yoshi: " But I don't get it?"

Master Roshi: " What's not to get you blundering oaf!? You wanted my teachings and now I'm going to give them to you!"

Yoshi: " Wait...You're...no..YOU'RE MASTER ROSHI!!"

Yoshi falls flat on his back and after a few moments returns to his feet. He follows Roshi's directions and makes his way to the back of the island where on the chair Master Roshi was sitting previously is draped with A red karate Gi with a custom Logo on the back and one small logo on the left side on the front, known as the Kame logo. He wraps a blue belt around his waist and pulls his boots tightly onto his feet. He gets up and stretch ready for his first task as a student of Master Roshi. Roshi walks out the back door, with his hands in his sleeves behind his back. He stares on at Yoshi and says.

Master Roshi: "Your first training task today will be a basic walk on water technique, afterward your next lesson will be moving a gigantic boulder on this island, and last but not least the final lesson for today will be my famous KameHameHa technique. Are you up for the challenge Yoshiri?"

Yoshi: " I am sensei, but wouldn't the first task be kind of easy for me since I know how to fly? I could simply just fly over the water without worrying about walking."

Master Roshi: " NO NO NO, you aren't to use any sort of energy except natural! I will let you know when the first task his complete. Now, BEGIN!"

Yoshi walks towards the water's edge as it moves in and out as the waves press. He looks around and back as the turtle, Roshi's pet finally makes his way outside to view the task. Yoshi feels comfortable and ready now and dashes out into the water only to be slowed and overtaken by the water as he sinks to the bottom. He returns to the shore and shakes himself somewhat dry and repeats again, this time keeping himself above the water for a short period of time but still fails to walk on the water. Roshi has now sat back down in his chair reading a dirty magazine paying no attention it seems to Yoshi and his attempts. Yoshi backs up a ways on shore, this time he was going to get it for sure, he dashes forwards with a great amount of speed he swishes along the sandy beach and reaches the water's edge, he charges forward adding more and more speed each step he takes and once he hits the water he's moving at such a great amount of quickness he walks gracefully on the water as his footsteps squirt out multiple drops of water beside his feet as he presses a foot to the ocean. Roshi adjusts his sunglasses and looks on before dropping the magazine and getting to his feet, he begins to move his hands and at this time Yoshi thinks he's going to applaude him. He couldn't have been any more wrong, instead of clapping at him he points to a huge rock a few feet away from the house. Yoshi is breathing heavily as he skips across the ocean and once again back to shore resting his hands on his knees as he is bent over tired. These back to back training segments were really beginning to strain his body and his energy.

Master Roshi: " What are you doing!? It isn't nap time yet! Chop Chop! Move that rock, you still have plenty of training to do and it's just the first day Yoshiri! "

Yoshi: " Argh, why did I give him my full name. "

Master Roshi: " Go Go Go, move that rock! I don't need to be your cheerleader boy! "

Yoshi straightens up his stance and begins walking towards the huge boulder. It seemed big before he was standing far away from it, but now standing next to it it seemed gigantic. He puts both hands against the stone and with the remaining effort he has he attempts to push the boulder. It doesn't budge an inch, or for that matter at all. He backs up and presses his shoulder to it trying to push it but to no avail as it remains in the same spot it was in before. Yoshi could have sworn it moved backwards, he sighed with frustration as he scrambles in multiple positions trying to move the huge rock and nothing seemed to work. And Roshi's voice echoing in his head " NO ENERGY! " He calms himself, maybe his frustration had been blocking his focus and concentration. If he could take a deep breath, forget about the weight of the rock, and just think about the place he wanted to move the rock maybe then he would be able to get some movement out of the humongous thing. He closed his eyes and blocked out all his frustration, all his thought of weight, friction, and just pictured where he wanted the rock to be moved to. He slowly raised his head and placed his two hands on the bottom of the rock. He bends his knees and slowly presses up, his once tanned knuckles begin to turn white as the rock begins to tremble slowly. Yoshi's muscles are bulging so much that it seems like they are about to explode as does the rest of his body, but he keeps a calm face with his eyes closed. The rock begins to elevate slowly and the higher it gets the faster it seems to be lifted. At the end of the heave Yoshi holds the rock in one hand and turns back to Roshi who hides his astonishment behind his shades but truly is wide eyed at the one handed hold. Yoshi turns around and hurls the rock far out into the ocean as it gives off a huge splash sending a few small waves and ripples to the islands shore.

Master Roshi: "And finally my KameHameHa attack, you will need to know this attack as your training with me goes on throughout the remaining days. Though I must warn you this attack is extremely difficult and powerful. If used the wrong way it could be lethal to it's creator and the opponent, or for that matter innocents that are near by. So upon using this attack you must promise to use it only in good faith, and know exactly who it's aimed at and where it's going. Understood?"

Yoshi: " I understand Master Roshi, and I accept it with great honor."

Master Roshi: " Very well, I am sure you are familiar with the technique Ki blast correct?"

Yoshi: " Yes master."

Master Roshi: " Well you're going to charge two of them, but not before you cup your hands together and place the down by your waist like so. "

Master Roshi shows Yoshi what exactly he is talking about. He cups his hands in front of him and then pulls them down to his waist, he repeats this a few times as Yoshi mimics his every movement finally after a few turns he gets it right.

Master Roshi: " Good, now you begin to charge your two Ki blasts, but it adds extra strength with the saying of my famous style of teaching. This blast was originated through countless fighters of earth and it was put to good use in many battles in our long forgotten history so, repeat after me. Ka..."

Yoshi: " Ka."

Master Roshi: "Me."

Yoshi: "Me."

Master Roshi: "Ha"

Yoshi: "Ha."

Master Roshi: "Me."

Yoshi: "Me."

Master Roshi: "HA!!"

Yoshi: "HA!!"

Simentaneously Yoshi and Roshi explode with Roshi's huge beam of Ki known better as the Kamehameha Wave. They both stream into the air and twirl around each other shortly after splitting the water into to due to the friction of the blast. Master Roshi allows Yoshi to get a feel for the blast for a few moments before turning his into Yoshi's canceling Yoshi's out as he stands beside Roshi breathing excessively.

Master Roshi: " Very good, not normal that students get it on their first try, I'm impressed. So you're training for today has came to an end and well I am sure you are extremely tired and famished so, shower. When you are finished eating you may sleep on the couch and get plenty of rest, for tomorrow brings an even harder task in training."

Yoshi nods, he could feel his energy sky rocketing to levels he never would have imagined he would be at before he left the beach. Today was a plethora of training and skill modification and he was soaking it all in. Roshi was indeed a very superior master. Yoshi was very pleased to have been accepted into his training and did not want to disappoint.

Master Roshi: "Well what are you waiting on? Go on, before I decide today's training isn't over and give you another task!"

Yoshi turns and makes his way towards the house. He is drenched in sweat and right now all he can think of is a good meal, shower, and rest. Now that he kind of knew what to expect from Roshi he wanted to be well prepared for tomorrow. He walks into the house grabbing his gear and his old apparel and sets them neatly infront of the couch.

Yoshi: "Man I thought this whole meeting and training under master Roshi deal was going to be easier than it actually was. To me his subtle tone is proving that today was indeed just a warm up to ready me for a more intense series of trainings. To be honest it's extremely hard, even for me."

Yoshi looked up a flight of stairs leading to one single room on the top floor which was the shower. He grabbed his old apparel and headed up the staircase shutting the door behind him and turning the water on as he sat his clothes down on the counter, the steam began to rise above the curtain rod, but Yoshi stay focused looking into the bathroom mirror at himself. His thoughts swam around in his mind seemingly putting him into a trance for a few moments as they echoed throughout his head with great volume to himself.

Yoshi - Master Mosagi I have accomplished the trial of finding this turtle hermit called Master Roshi. I can see why you would know that his training would be detrimental to my skill if I so chose to take the path as a defender of earth. I am learning a lot from this man, and I feel he is sufficient in the way of Ki energy. However I still think you're training was in a category to itself. Without you here to finish your teachings I feel lost for understanding. I know if you would have had it your way you would still be here as would I in the forest at your home and dojo learning vast more powerful techniques than most of these masters can teach here now. But regardless, I picked up on something today, Roshi's style is a lot like yours, every thing down to the way his fighting stance is proportioned I feel a since of comfortableness around him as if it were you here teaching me. I am an earth defender, and I will fight as well as continue for your legacy sensei.

Yoshi snaps out of it and climbs into the shower as the scene switches back to Roshi and Mr. Turtle. The two are standing outside as the water is still waving speratically from the previous impact of the two Kamehameha waves they shot earlier.

Master Roshi: " There is something different about this young one. Something mystic, something unique. I wouldn't expect anything less from Mosagi, but this human has a far more powerful reading than any of the others I have sensed while on this planet. It's like a reincarnation of someone I once new a long time ago, but it couldn't be.

Mr. Turtle: " You don't really believe that do you? "

Master Roshi: " No, it couldn't be. He is far long gone, and this world really needs another fighter like him. For though it has been quiet here for sometime peace is never forever. I can see this young child going places even further than Goku. He has the drive, energy, and determination to fight for what is right here on earth. And purge any sinful evil that threatens that way of life. He thinks of everyone, before himself, and here that is very hard to find."

The two take a few minutes thinking of what Roshi said as they look out and over the water surrounding the island to the east. The sun is far past set and the two conclude by walking into the house. Upon doing so the house that was a huge wreck, filthy with trash all over the place has now transformed into a clean environment. Mr. Turtle and Roshi's mouths drop as Yoshi has completely cleaned their house with haste. The food has already been cooked and the table set as Yoshi awaits the two to sit standing by the table. Roshi walks up to him with a look of surprise as Mr. turtle wastes no time at all making his way to the side of the dinner table.

Master Roshi: "Wow, um..you cleaned and cooked? I say if you were of the opposite gender what a catch you would be! But you're not, so don't be getting any ideas!"

Yoshi: " No sir, my former master taught me discipline and determination. But also a few tips on cleanliness as well. I have knowledge of a lot of things most people wouldn't think I would have knowledge of. This makes me more unpredictable in fighting and in normal living routines. "

Mr. Turtle:"And a good thing too, this place hasn't been cleaned in over a year. To be perfectly honest Roshi, I was beginning to think that I wouldn't ever get the smell out of my shell. And well, as far as a good warm meal is concerned I think we've tried every T.V. created here on this planet. It is good to have something new for a change."

Master Roshi laughs nervously as his embarrassment shines through when his face turns read and an anime tear drop appears beside his head. The three chuckle at the moment a bit before taking their places at the dinner table and scarfing down every last bit of the delicious food Yoshi had prepared for all of them. When they finish they all lean back patting their full stomachs. Yoshi stands up and takes all the eating items to the sink and washes them quickly before bowing to master roshi signaling his time for bed had approached Roshi gave an approving nod as Yoshi grabbed a blanket and curled up on the couch covering himself, and after a few moments, loud snoring was heard as not too far afterward the lights in the house began to turn off one by one, and the house grew silent for the rest of the night.
