Maybe more mods?!

I think this site could use a few more mods, because there is barely a mod on, I dont know if it's my time zone, but my threads been up for a while, and it still hasn't been approved, now you may think I'm being a little hasty and impatient but look, when a young boy comes here ready to role play, he has all these wonderful ideas panned out in his head, almost like a map of his whole dbz experience, but the things is he has to post a boring intruductory. So he does despite his unwillingness. Now the problem here is these thoughts and excitements stay in his head for about 2 days, and it most likely hasnt been approved, by now he has a bad impression of the site and probably won't recommend it to his friends. This happens way to much on role plays like this. Not my case of course but a lot it happens, and then you've missed an oppurtunity to receive another active member...

Here is what I suggest, he comes on brimming with ideas, posts his introductory, late that night, goes to sleep dreaming about his rp experience, he's eager to see, he gets on at the crack of dawn just to see, and he finds out that he has been approved, then he goes on to fire out creative thoughtful posts. --Thats how things should be
The only problem is we have one mod and one admin.
A perfect example is the thread "The life of broly" in the North Galaxy section, Ldog said that would be deleted or moved in 3 days, that was said on the 11th of July, whether ot not Ldog had the time is not the point, if we had some mods, chances are someone would have seen it, and deleted it or moved it, we need more people working around the clock
We should get some other mods around the place, like ones who can get on a lot, not trying to suggest me, but I rp alright, and I am on a fair bit of the time, so if anyone else agrees and would like to contribute or not please post below, thanks
(Btw I live in aus, its a good Idead to get people from diff timezones so they can approve posts in their time, while the other lot can aprove the ones in their times, it all works out)

I agree in that I haven't seen korn and ldog on much the last few days, whether that's situational or the norm I dont know but like you said, it discourages new people.

Yeah, I'd think about 5 or 4 active mods would be nice atm.

It would be cool too if there would be only a few very active guys to rival in power or train hard with.

I have failed you all T-T. But for real the real reason some of your threads have not been getting approved is because for some reason moderators don't have the ability to edit character sheets. So if I approve then wait for Korn to edit the sheet it is waisting as much time as before. Also if I approve then you guys go on writing and korn comes on and he has to do all the work of adding up and looking at your post to make sure they are legit. I will be able to approve your stuff and edit soon .

Mods can't edit the sheets?

Everytime ldog approves a post, if korn doesnt say anything in the thread then just add those pluses to the next thread and so on

Ldog did you even read my starting post, because if you did, you would see that my introduction thread stills needs approval.

he just said, he cant edit character stats, therefore he cant approve your character because he cant set your stuff

IMO Korn should be more active.

What do you think of its PL limit? I'd suggest 100,000 or 80,000.

i suggest more, remember goku had a power level over around 200,000 (150,000 when genyu measured it then an increase from his near death after the body swap incident) AND he had the trauma freiza created so unless we can create a traumatic event for the character we'll need to assign a pretty high power level before you even might achieve it, unless we could set specific events in saga to make saiyans deemed strong enough to reach super saiyan level

I'd say 180,000 now... because you need a hell of a words for it so when it's finished you'll prob hit 200,000.
So when you transform you'll get 300,000 Powerlevel.

What do you think of the android's perfect form? I'm not sure will that be similar to Cell's absorption transformations, or upgrades.

well i got the impression that the form transformations were just like cell's though I suppose it could be a sort of power up thing which basically increases the android's stats but can't maintain the powered up state for long as it drains the android

maybe for super saiyain it could be like, as is now super saiyain has a 50% increase in stats, advanced training as a super saiyain could bring you to an ascended/ultra super saiyain for 75% increase and then spending some days relaxing as a super saiyain like goku and gohan did to achieve the full power super saiyan form for a 100% boost

The reason super saiyan is the way that it is is because he doesn't want. Saiyans to overpower everyone else. Plus everyone would want to be a saiyan and we will have 90% of people being saiyans. Saiyans already gain alot faster from battles and the are on 10x gravity so I think supersaiyan should stay at 50% stat increase.

Just a note about what you said about traumatic experiences, mind you Korn did say not to long ago that he would be making a saga, this does provide a good time for these, especially with the saga probably involving some massive evil warrior, plenty of people will probably die, lol, then we are all saiayans and because saiyans come back stronger after dying, plus when dead your in other world right, run snake way train with king kai and learn Kaioken? Then after Kaioken you'll have powered up, then you will come back stronger. This should be a signifigant step in the way to becoming a super saiyan, and the rest can't be that much to type up.

Plus my birthday is Tuesday so you could imagine. Anyway, I found the time to come here so no worries

Saiyans are the way they are because almost all players chose to be Saiyans even though their transformation is the weakest, their tail could be grabbed in battle and that could paralyze them, they start with less money then humans and they can't create equipments like Nameks. Imagine what if they did have a strong transformation or maybe 2 more.

In the series only few Saiyans could actually achieve Super Saiyan so because it's an RPG and there will be alot more Supre Saiyans here the least I could do is make them just a bit weaker to balance it out and make them work hard to keep up with other races.

I'd say it's because people who come to these rp's have probably watched dbz before, like the anime. And you'll notice in the rp it's just about always Saiyans/Saiyans saving the day and have the most signifigant impact on the show.
